Media Criticism Web Assignment 1 • Fall 2008
For this first wiki assignment, you may complete one of the following:
- Define a vocabulary term
- Write an essay about a specific topic we have covered so far
- Write a commentary (review) of a text we have read so far
- Put at least two entries on the annotated bibliography
You are required to use at least two critical sources correctly cited according to MLA. All citations should appear on the site’s works cited page. You should target a 500-word minimum for your entire submission.
All submissions must be approved by me before being submitted to the site.
- I would like a written (email) informal proposal about what you intend to do for this assignment to me by 9/9/08.
- A rough draft will be due 9/16. Bring your assignment with you to class in an electronic form.
Final project due 9/23.
