Checking Your Grades

Beginning this semester, Spring 2009, I will be using Engrade for all my classes. Grades will no longer be available on Humanities Online. The best way to find out how you’re doing in the course is still to see me during my office hours so we can discuss your progress, but I know this is not always possible or convenient, especially for online courses.

To access your grades, go to my Engrade page and click on “signup”; enter your Access Code (see below), and choose a username/password combination. You can then use your username and password to log in and see your grades as I update them.

Students must request their Engrade access codes from me. Ask me personally or send me an email.

I never discuss grades over email. Period. You may, of course, email me if you think there’s an error. Please be as specific as possible. Also, you might want to check my expectations for written work and how those expectations correspond to letter grades.
